At Bright Self Storage, you don’t have to worry about rigid or inflexible access hours. On the contrary, we invite you to visit your storage unit and retrieve your belongings any time you like.
We understand that some of our customers might have special storage needs, including the need to store their recreational vehicles. We are happy to offer storage units that are specially sized to accommodate RVs.

You’ll need a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, state ID, or passport). You’ll also sign a rental agreement so we know who’s responsible for the unit and understand the rules of storage.
For safety and legal reasons, there are certain items that are prohibited. These typically include flammable or explosive materials, perishable food, living things (plants, animals), hazardous/toxic substances, and anything illegal. If you’re unsure about a particular item, just ask us.
Yes! You can reserve a unit ahead of your move or storage need. Reserving ensures the unit size you need is available when you’re ready. Call or text (812) 637-1822 to make your arrangements.
Payments are due on the first of every month.
While our professional staff is always available to assist, we also want to make it easy for you to manage your account with us.
There are several payment options:
– Drop your payment in the drop box located inside the facility.

– We accept major credit cards and Paypal through our website.
While facility insurance covers the building itself, it doesn’t cover the contents of storage units. We strongly recommend you carry insurance that covers your belongings in storage.
You can end your rental by letting us know by the 15th day of the month preceding your move out date to receive your security deposit. Rent is on a monthly basis. So to avoid rent charges for a month, you must have vacated unit by the last day of the month. On move-out day, please empty the unit, remove your lock, and let us know when you’ve vacated so we can check the unit.
Yes. At Bright Self Storage, tenants are responsible for providing their own lock. This ensures that only you have the key or combination, giving you complete control over access to your unit. We recommend using a high-quality disc lock or padlock for the best security.
We understand that, any time you rent space in self storage units, security is going to be of paramount concern. We’re happy to offer peace of mind via a number of onsite security options, including full digital video surveillance.
